Raisin Carob Trail Mix
Trail mix is glorified GORP (Good Old Raisins and Peanuts) and is usually a mixture of nuts, dried fruits, and other flavorings. After trying this recipe, browse the bulk section of your grocery store and experiment with your own blends. This is an easy one to get your kids involved in and it’s a great, portable snack that doesn’t need refrigeration. It’s a high calorie, high energy snack, so small portions go a long way. Pack it in small plastic containers for the lunchbox.
