For the last 7 years, Claire has been passionately dedicated to feeding the students of Wayzata Public Schools and creating an efficient, safe, and fun place to work! As a production unit coordinator, Claire is combining her food service management experience and love of customer service to expand her district’s vision of adding more scratch-cooked recipes to daily menus and continuing to connect students with their communities through school lunches. Claire is proud to be a Chef Ann Fellow and will strive to inspire a sense of purpose in others during this journey. In her spare time, Claire spends time with her family, enjoys anything crafty, and loves her muddle of 19 guinea pigs!

Ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide fresh, healthy, delicious, cook from scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet.

Why School Food Matters

American kids start their life-path in K–12 schools where they learn the skills necessary to thrive & meet their potential. While the country debates the best ways to teach them math, science & English, we spend little to no time on food & nutrition.
