Megan’s role is to work collaboratively to conduct evaluation activities to improve the effectiveness of CAF programs and highlight project outcomes.
Megan earned her master’s degree at Kansas State University and has experience with food systems research and farm to school coordination. Her previous work has included various programmatic activities such as technical assistance provision, network management, and conducting statewide evaluations. Megan’s family descends from a line of CHamoru and Filipino farm workers, which influenced her career shift from healthcare to urban farming and finally to research and evaluation. Through her lived experiences and desire for anti-colonial justice, she has a deep appreciation for cultural nuances and a commitment to equity in research and evaluation. She utilizes frameworks like CREE and incorporates mixed methodologies to uplift and engage community voices.
Megan and her partner live in Michigan, where they enjoy spending time outdoors foraging, hiking, kayaking, and more.
